Ian Palmer (Chief Executive Officer) - Ian Palmer joined 3Di in September 2008 as CEO. Prior to joining 3Di, Mr. Palmer served as executive vice president at KVH Industries, Inc., from 2004 to 2008, and from 2000 to May 2004 as KVH’s vice president of satellite product sales. He served in a variety of sales related positions at KVH from 1993 to 2000, during a time of rapid company growth. KVH is a global leader of mobile satellite communications products. From 1989 to 1993, Mr. Palmer served as national sales manager for Euro Marine Trading, importing a variety of products and integrated electronic systems from Europe, and selling through a nation-wide customer base. He received a B.A. in international relations and business from Boston University.

Craig McDonald (Chief Operating Officer) - Craig McDonald began his career working for local government in the area of public safety services.  He designed, developed and implemented a countywide emergency communications system for all public safety agencies in Monroe County, New York.  Mr. McDonald went on to work for Astrophysics Research Corporation, a subsidiary of EG&G, where he was responsible for developing a computer-based simulation system to increase the ability of x-ray operators to detect explosive devices within airports and government buildings.  He then joined Eastman Kodak Company where he helped transition Kodak’s film-based business into the digital world.  Craig also spent 10 years working as an adjunct professor for the Rochester Institute of Technology and the State University of New York where he taught courses in computer security, computer forensics, identity theft, and disaster recovery. He joined 3Di in January of 2007 and is the current COO.

Marc Krens (Chief Financial Officer) - Prior to joining 3Di in 2004, Mr. Krens served as senior vice president and CFO, treasurer and corporate secretary of a leading global commodity corporation. As CFO, Mr. Krens has responsibility for the financial, accounting, tax, risk management, and treasury management. Mr. Krens is an integral part of the strategic planning process and is a constant driver for change. In his career, Mr. Krens spent 5 years in banking as a commercial loan officer after graduation from the University of Maryland in 1981 with a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Economics. Mr. Krens passed the Certified Public Accountant Exam in 1984 and joined a CPA Firm. During his 7-year career in public accounting, Mr. Krens provided a wide range of accounting, tax and consulting services.

Dan Throop (Co-Owner and Founder) - Dan Throop spent 26 years with Harris Corporation/ RF Communications before moving on to be the General Manager of Atlas Telecommunications in the United Arab Emirates for 6 years. In 2004, Mr. Throop left Atlas Telecommunications and was one of three founders that provided an integral piece to the formation of 3Di Technologies.

Don Baker (Co-Owner and Founder) - Don Baker spent 20+ years overseas: 10 with Textron Defense Systems (Saudi Arabia), 5 years with GE/Ericcson working throughout the GCC, 2 years with Motorola in Saudi Arabia, followed by 5.5 years as VP Technology and Special Projects of Atlas Telecommunications in the United Arab Emirates. Mr. Baker left ATLAS in 2004 to form 3Di Technologies.

John Rodenhouse (Chairman,Co-Owner, and Founder) - John Rodenhouse’s abilities to move and deploy ‘specialized freight’ and ‘complete projects’ globally is the basis of success for John’s corporate flagship, The Diplomat Group. Mr. Rodenhouse teamed with Mr. Throop and Mr. Baker in 2004, bringing with him business expertise and experience, and helping to solidify the foundation for 3Di Technologies.
