Our technical staff consists of highly-skilled satellite field technicians and network engineers who hold security clearances. Most of the engineering staff has prior military service including experience working in austere and often hostile environments.

Systems Engineering Services
3Di has over 120 years of combined expertise and experience in the VSAT communications industry. Senior system engineers, RF engineers, network engineers, and operations specialists are the crux of the team. Using the expertise and experience of this diverse engineering team, the user will be provided a standards-based, formal system engineering regimen ensuring optimal and efficient solutions.

3Di Technologies’ system engineers will work with the customer in the requirements definition phase, present a comprehensive preliminary design review (PDR) and, after comments and action items are completed, hold a Critical Design Review (CDR). Once the CDR is complete and the customer has authorized the program to proceed, the system engineering team will oversee the procurement, assembly, integration, and test of each of the systems components and sub-systems, culminating with a total system integration and test evolution verifying the system behavior and metrics.

Once the system has been verified and accepted by the customer, the system engineering team will finalize the as-built configuration drawing package and documentation for the customer. After commissioning of the system, the system engineering team will participate in an operational support role as part of the anomaly resolution team, configuration control, and enhancement boards.
